i found my dress! wahahahaha. 2 dresses actually. yes i know u guys out there must think im a nut to buy 2 dresses. its a long story. anw, i've talked to my mom bout it and we decided to auction off the bubble dress. i'll probably take a pic in it and post it up on ebay or smth soon. aft prom i guess. but yup. whew. finally smth settled.

hehe. not afraid anyone will wear the same dress since its the only piece! wahahaha. maybe that's why its alil pricey. but fear not! dbs card gives a 10% discount on normal-priced items. and yes, that 10% makes a big difference. uh huh.

mommy dearest is kind enough to sacrifice part of her lunch hour to find me in town tmr to get that dress for me. all for the dbs card. hehe. if only i had a credit/debit card. =/ oh well. at least it helps to curb my spending.

paying the rest of my prom stuff on my own. my heels, accessories. make-up. blah blah. yup. feel really bad making my parents pay so much for my one night of fun. hur hur.

did i mention im moving? ok so im moving. over to bukit batok. its a temp thing, until my current house is fully renovated. we've started moving stuff over. man, moving is a serious chore i tell you. my storeroom alone took 2 days to move. yet another shopping day. met really alot of people today though. sharlene, benson, colin, kah wee, boon tian, zhi yuan, aundrea and mich loh. wow. anw, should i say its a fruitful day? targetted 3 beautiful dresses. one from daniel yam of cos. the one i really loved is from lavender. $538! ): oh man! if only i was a rich man's daughter you know. freak. oh well. i guess i'll scout one last time tmr before i confirm on getting the gown from DY. quite bored of the color though. if only it came in other prettier colors.

freak! for the first time in my life i received an edusave bursary and im not eligible for it! my household income is more than 4K. ah!!!! this is so annoying. groans. oh well. at least it gives you a sense of achievement that you know, your efforts are recognised. hope i didnt peak during prelims. oh man. this thought is freaky.

hope he's doing fine in sch. its pretty scary to hear his friends collasping due to stress. im not kidding. 1 had to see a psychiatrist to prescribe sleeping pills cos she cant sleep but only stare at the screen eyes wide open. another went to the hospital due to gastric pains from stress. and my bro lost so much weight! he's like 1.8m tall but weighs 50+?! ok, so im stuck at home today, for the sole reason that my passport has to be renewed and not extended (which i dont know how the authorities differeniate these terms) and it cost 80bucks and 4 days to get it done. so yes. im stuck in sg when rachie dear is at msia happily shopping for her prom dress. shrugs.

the kiasu-ism is surfacing again. bef my As ended, my neighbour came over to ask whether i still had my hcl notes as her son in HCI would be taking his Os real soon. like in a couple of days. obviously, i didnt keep them. 2 years. it'd been rotten by now. haha. anw, i dont believe HCI wont provide any notes for their students. like hello, HCI. known for spoon-feeding. uh huh. anw, thats none of my business. and then she went on asking me to reserve my JC notes for her daughter who is only in what? sec2? rite... syllabus has already changed my dear. =/ it'll be a total waste of my notes which ive painstakingly sourced out from only to be thrown away by her in years to come. told my mom bout it, and she got alil worked up too and said "if she comes over, just say you gave it to your cousin." haha. white lies. oh well.

talking bout my mom, i guess this period of like studying at home/ out set me thinking alot. reminisced bout my past and felt real bad treating my mom like crap last time. it all started in sec2 aft my mid-yrs where my results were thrashy and it was also because of that i went to sub-sci class. my end-yrs werent good enough to pull my grades high enough. yup. you know, people always say teens start to go astray when they hit that age. had a couple sec5 friends and my mom immediately deemed them as bad influence.

she went really hard on me since the sec half of the year onwards, always scolding me. blah blah, you know the usual stuff. im not someone who takes the hard approach, so when that happened, her efforts backfired and our relationship soured. i guess i didnt tell anyone this explicitly bef but i doubt this will sound surprising to some peeps. yup. so instead of talking, we usually spoke in harsh tones. she came to my room talking to me nicely twice bout my attitude and stuff. and yes, i was still the old bitch using that awful tone at her. sheesh. what an unfilial daughter.

luckily, things just changed for the better. she no longer restricted me that much. scolded me much. blah blah. and i treat her much better now. didnt quite realise it until that nite when i called my mom at shir's house and shir went "you sound like you're talking to ur friend la." lol.

yup. so thats it. though the situation is ok now, scars are still there la. for her esp. you know, she puts my photo next to hers in her wallet, not my other bros or even my dad. being the only daughter in the house, perhaps all the strict rules have covered up their love for me. so much i was too blind to feel it, let alone see it.

end of As. finally. whew. i never want to go through it again. straining and all. my fate's sealed. so i can only hope for the best now. dont want to predict my grades or anything but yup. give me at least an A? =/ anyhow. had a great stayover at shir's house str aft As, binging! sinful, but yup. fun! haha. and i caught step-up too! gosh! i totally fell in love with the last dance. its a fushion of breaking, ballet and modern dance. ah! and Channing Tatum (Tyler in the movie) is drop dead handsome! hehehe.

feels weird not having anything to do for a change suddenly. time seems to halt whenever it can. went to search for prom dresses ytd but there's practically nth that caught my eye! ok, except that blue dress that cost like 2k+? woohoo. haha. heading down to msia tmr with rach and her family to see if we can find anything there.

decided against tailor-making mine aft no.2 told me that outfit only works with like really long curly hair. ): i miss my long silky hair! darn. nvm. im quite satisfied with my shoulder-length hair now anw. hehe. will have to wait for a year for my old hair to grow back.

ah! i just discovered my passport expired recently! 12nov 2006. i must be a lucky shit to rem to check my passport. if not i wonder what im gonna do stuck at the causeway tmr. hehe. cheers to rach and elonn. hahaha.
