never work for anna nucci.

i went for my interview today. it was scheduled to be at 6pm and being a councillor, the whole be early, not punctual thing, i reached the shop at 5.52pm (according to the sales girl) and to my surprise, dear potential-boss-no-more was still at his office! great.. so i left my number with her and wandered ard the shops. i practically went into almost all the shops and still he didnt call me! guess how long i waited for his call. 1hour15min!

i saw that he arrived and was fiddling with the comp system. like ok. so the sales girl called me to go over and since i was in the vicinity ( i got bored so i decided to not walk that far off) i turned ard and walked back. hur hur. guess what? he went off to the lift! -.- the sales girl called him again and she was like "hey sorry, he went down to get some stuff." great.

and so he was back. he didnt mention anything bout that 1hour15min la. then he went on bout the job and i asked a few qns like "is this a 5-day work thing?" and he said "there is no such thing as a 5-day work thing. blah blah blah." hur hur. there is btw. my mind was going, just get it done and get lost. i just said "can i confirm with u by sat?" and poof. gone.

its basic courteousy for anyone to at least be punctual for an interview la, boss or interviewee. regardless. and he being late, even went down to get stuff from his car. my goodness. what kind of boss is that? lets not talk bout the pay. and till now, i dont know his name. hur hur. no need to anw. with that kind of attitude, no wonder his shop is still situated at far east.

bah... wasted my time. ok not really. at least i ran into alan, jianru and bernard. what a small world. haha. and i saw KL and friends. pls tell me why i ran away when i saw them? lol. come to think of it, i dont know why! =/

working world is crap. if only i can study my whole life. nah. mahjong-ing n shopping are much better. hehe. 10:15 PM

a long overdue entry bout birthdays. shall update in order then. first up was jingxiu's. since she would be/ had enjoyed her birthday overseas (Paris and switzerland. !!!) so we decided to surprise her with a cake and a bday song at the airport. we were having the jitters awaiting for her arrival. ah! and there she was, walking in with all her luggage. hehe. success no.1!

next up, shir's birthday. it was somewhat a last min one since birthdays were all in one go (12 to 15) and elsa was working. so we stayed up to like 2am to discuss and confirm everything. i woke up at 7 and headed down with rach to j8 and did some grocery shopping bef meeting elsa and going down to shir's house to prepare her lunch. pasta, egg omelette with ham, salmon and cheese hotdogs. yum yum. took some crazy photos and i rushed down to change and get ready for part2. little did she know that we gave her another surprise with a swissbake cake in marche! wahaha. its a 'tradition' to have swissbake cakes on our birthdays and since we couldnt get one that morn, we had to come up with plan2.

then its mine! wahahaha. ok i spent half of the day watching princess hours. xin and lu are drop dead gorgeous!! ahhh.... ok thats not the point. jie asked me out for dinner and shih ying was there too. (i saw her on the bus. it was meant to be a surprise but oh well. haha.) went to far east and met tim on the way. aft jie looked at some beads for her upcoming online shop, we went to swensens to meet the guys. benson, leow and jovial! its been long since i last saw them! ok la, i saw benson while shopping for prom and leow when i was having tuition for prelims. hehe. dinner was great. and some 'mystery' person kept sending me gifts starting with the letter 'M'. 17 items to be exact. last one being my cake. and who else? sistas! along with czyang and ker. (hur hur. on a date with burqq huh? haha.) they got me the weirdest things ok. like mushrooms, mango juice, mini mouse balloon, mac toy, marker, math assessment book. like huh?! lol. but i still love them. here they are! oh yes, each present came along with a slip of note in starbucks serviettes. lol. and big thanks to rachie dear for whipping up a montage in just one day for dearest me! (you finally said U LOVE ME! first time ok! aww. hehe.) pardon the childish bedsheet. LOL. its been with me since i was.. born? yup yup. =/ so embarrassing!

next day it was celebration with the guys. sam, zhengyu, mao and yan turned up! had dinner at village. it was my first official 'drink' aft turning legal. the beer there is good man! damn smooth. but just took a few sips la. i think beer stinks. =/ gingerbeer is so much better. slacked at the 24hr lounge where zixiang, kenrick and kaiwei popped by. movie aft that. flyboys! knights in the air! i give it 4 stars! if only they could elaborate more on how did the guy came about getting a phobia for flying. but oh well. its alr 2 and a half hours.

basically thats most of the celebrations. thank YOU ALL for the gifts, surprises, blessings and the company! the list is too long. it was great. totally. it'd be perfect if u remembered. its perfect. (:

so that was prom. my other photos are with elsa and her com crashed! -.- anw, yup. pics are up now. my face is so plastic. its a cut and paste for every one. hahaha. everyone looked gorgeous that night. no denial.

im alrite now. more or less. moving house wasnt helping at all, esp when you needed the whole family to help move 1 fish tank from the back to the front of your house and you experience a split moment of fear when you feel the weight is crashing down on u. lol. so many of my dad's koi died! reason being the drastic change in water. shrugs. now there's only 2 left. lets hope they survive.

prom ended just like that. so fast. too fast. anw, the food at meritus sucks! yuck yuck. its not even comparable to some restaurants i've been to. oh well. prom isnt bout the dinner anw. its bout snapshorts with everyone! its a pity my darn cam died on me halfway tru prom. groans. so half of my photos are with everyone else. pls send them to me!

prom was quite well-organised by the 29^th . it went rather smoothly actually. and andy is our prom king!! haha. i love his "i want a sweet wife" ans. LOL. the crowd went "aww.." unanimously. prom queen went to mich loh. i bet it was a tough fight btw june, tiff and her. they're afterall, the hot favs.

went to asylum for a drink as a class after that. then the class splitted up to go our own ways where my group just rotted ard. hehe. i heard the post-prom party at attica was bad. like really bad. the comments i got from my friends were like "thank goodness u didnt go." hahaha. oh well.

back to the hotel. we all got worried for ker cos we couldnt get tru. turned out he lost his hp. =/ oh well. he finally called the hotel (and i still duno how u got the hotel's no.) and we went to pick him up. i must say ritz's service is superb! even the chefs will greet u. like wow. and we're only students u see. 5* hotel. no doubt bout it.

prom ended in a big bang for me. felt nauseous by the time i got back to the hotel. and aft celebrating ker's birthday and sleeping till 11, i puked out all my dinner and cake. LOL. i think its the screwdriver i drank. been too long since i last touched alcohol. bah... diarrhea at the same time too. oh man. i swear i was like a zombie when we checked out. hahahaha.

thanks for all the care and concern peeps! u noe who u are. im feeling much betta now. and of cos, thank you jx, rach and ker for cabbing home with me! i hope i'll fully recover by tmr so i can watch saw3 with shir and ker! wahahahaha.

moving house everyday. like what my dad said "move until sian alr." yes! im damn bored of moving alr. my dad's potted plants esp. freakin heavy la! not to mention those huge old tables where carpenters then havent really put much thinking in making furniture movers-friendly. i think im gonna turn into some muscle woman for prom man. AH! damn...

getting cuts like everywhere. my fingers. my right foot esp. 3 cuts in total. one bled like tapwater. guess what? i didnt feel it at all. it was until my mom noticed those blood stains on the floor that i got a big shock. eww. ah! how am i gonna look pretty with all the plasters on my feet?! yuck yuck yuck.

done shopping for prom. no.2 says the cloth i found is too heavy for the dress. -.- at least i got the color right. whew. jx, are u still using my shawl? if not i may need it to replace my ribbon. not sure yet. anyhows, im gonna soak that piece of cloth in softlan later for days to make it as soft as possible. if it doesnt work, too bad!

my passport's ready for collection. sian. if only it was ready then. crap. oh well. at least i dont need to go through the sam hassle again when i going overseas with my mom next yr. hehe. she promised me a hk/taiwan trip! most probably taiwan. but who knows? as long as i can shop, i dont really care you know. mwhahaha.

shopping for prom is not fun anymore. my legs are aching in agony when i get home. and with the plaster at my foot, it just makes things worse. groans. but oh well. ive found everything! (well, almost.) but counted la.

looks like im not the only one who bought 2 dresses. heard shir and jx too! jx! i cant believe u actually bought smth from chaos! like HOT seh! hehehe. i cant wait to see u at the hotel!

moving again. and its only floor1. when it comes to my bedroom, its hell. LOL. oh ya, i still have to share a room with no.2 when i move over. my parents turned the downstairs one into a storeroom. we have too many things alr. ): oh well. no.1 says i get to have his room aft aug since he'll be in USA studying for his PhD.

yup. he's that smart. i cant stand it. he's never been a worry for my parents since young. but its damn saddening that he'll be away for a few more years la! and i tot he'll be in sg for good man. and no.2 is so busy with his projects and stuff (he's intending to create a LOTR tower model this hols when he has like no time?!) so im literally the only child at home. and things will get busy once uni starts. the house'll be empty most of the time then. hur hur. what happened to home sweet home? 12:52 AM
