work ended. am i glad? well, partially. to be honest, I felt as though I've put down a heavy load when I walked out from my cubicle. In the morning, Yati expressed her gratitude to me, and that she was kinda sad im leaving so quickly. (its only been a mth or so.) n apparently she got to know of a lil scolding i got while working. it caught me by surprise that alot of my colleagues heard it and felt unjust for me. like hey, im new n im merely a temp. its amazing to have permanent full-timers take notice of you, let alone feel that way.

after the handshake with Apple, it really dawned on me that im leaving the company. been great working under her. though i caused some inconvenience to her, im happy she didnt blame me at all. its a pity the other sales people were attending a sales meeting overseas. couldnt get to say goodbye to Daragh. this guy is freakin' hilarious. he encourages me to drink n party. hur hur. cheerios to beer, mate. ("cheers" and "mate" happen to be his signature words.)

so its bye bye customer service and hello freedom boredom. its only been a day at home n i cant stand it alr. hur hur. but i cant take up another office job since my schedule's filled to the brim with driving lessons. =/ BTT's coming up. 8 may. followed by my first driving lesson w Mr Sng. wish me luck man. 5:07 PM

my internet has been down for a week ever since the mio box arrived. sheesh. finally, the misunderstanding is cleared. apparently Singtel hires a group of contractors to do the installation and that particular one didnt give us our full package plus installed a faulty mio box plus not leaving behind his contact number. uh huh. so we're (or rather, me) calling up Singtel tmr to lodge the complaint. standard procedure.

working in cust srv is both good n bad i guess. i mean, its not an easy job, esp the yelling part. often i'll think, what's wrong with these people? the worst was this guy who accused to be given a "prostitute srv" when its simply just chargeable sms, and insulted my intelligence level and my parents. yeap. its so bad i was drowning myself in sorrow that i couldnt hear rach calling out to me. ):

anw, its like, its cust srv. what do i expect rite? thou im lucky to have a great working environment where colleagues are really nice people who bother to initiate a conversation with you, and get to speak to real polite people over the phone, there's a down side to it as well. let's just say its at the expense of others.

friday was supposed to be my last day, but i extended it for a week. Things are still not back on track yet so yup, doing my part here. but it'll be half-days except for tues since my theory lessons are jam-packed in the afternoons n evenings. haha. im gonna miss Sybase365 people!

oh yeah. ive changed my number 2 weeks back. just that my no. retention srv only got activated last nite at 1140pm, i could only announce it now. you can still contact me via my old number, just dont get surprised when you see an alienated no appearing instead. hehe.

because of the number port srv, i screamed at a cust srv officer last night. ): i swear i will never do it again. apologized to him (of cos) just now when he called to cfm. well, its cos ive waited for more than 2 weeks to get it done when all it takes is only 5 working days. i went down specially to sign a doc and was then notified i needed to sign yet another form and was disappointed when i was promised that it'll be activated a day bef. uh huh. 10:08 PM

leow was sooo free today he decided to be Mr. Nice Guy and picked me up from my office. its great catching up with him and getting home way faster at the same time. hehe. his driving's great. (i shall ignore that sudden turn, leow. haha.) thank God he didnt leave me at the bottom of the hill. if he did, i'll just strap myself to the seat. its soooo steep! hur hur. its my first time hitching a ride from a friend actually. so yup, the feeling of being chauffeurred is WOOHOO!

leow bugged me to start learning driving. checked out the test date for basic theory and it is in JUNE. what the. uh huh. that's for private candidates. so i told my mom bout it and asked whether its fine if i be a sch candidate instead. and she was like, OK LOH. like no hesitation can! woohoo!! cheerios!

slept through Good Friday. that's how tiring work has been. or rather, work + outings. haha. thursday was the most taxing day at work. some lunatic screwed all the way to Starhub when our records show we've alr resolved the issue long ago. screamed over the phone when I called to clear things up. (you know the usual Im gonna write to the press whatever shit. like that's gonna help. get your facts right first. you cant sue us. haha.) n Starhub kept flooding me with mountainous amt of mails to the extent of even mailing my colleague who isnt in my department. he was like "these people are crazy man." HAHA. how apt. yup, and they called me even. i think i spent like an hour of so handling that case. oh crap. n i had to rush off for wine dining with my parents. hoho.

oh well. great exposure i guess. but it sucks when i think bout me doing 3 people's work. uh huh. apple's gone. even w her ard, we're still short-handed. so that makes up 3 people's work load. my dad says i should ask for more pay. oh shut up! kum just told me his friend has alr received a letter from SMU asking him to go down for an interview. guess what course? arts n social. and his grades're like ABC a2 CAN?!?! what the shit! crap. smu's really a hot choice this year. must've been their 100% employment rate within a yr. n i just realised ntu n nus'll be sending our their letters starting from april (which is now!) till june / may. its only been over a week and im dreading working life alr. yes i have a great head, no doubt. i have nice company for lunch, uh huh. but i cant stand the mundane pace. its like everyday, its checking of voicemail and inbox. call and pick up calls from irritating / naggy / yelling / whinny customers who simply refuse to accept that we are NOT the content providers but simply a platform. just today, some arse scolded the F-word too many times i went "mind your words sir. you dont need to scold vulgarities to get your point across." hur. people who know me should understand how annoyed i get when people do that. =/

Apple's leaving tonight. im gonna be all alone facing the deafening silence in the cold cubicle. its never ending work ard here. im just gonna do as much as I can and hopefully its enough to at least lessen her work load once she's back. that poor girl even has to work while on a holiday. gosh. she's too nice. sigh.

how i wish im back in school again. i miss school! i miss the vibrant life i used to own. the enjoyable PE lessons. the crazy moments we have unglamming ourselves doing silly things. the gossip sessions happening everywhere in every corner imaginable. )): i cant wait for my acceptance letter to be sent. prompto! 10:40 PM
